Many people find they are able to do a large amount of their bookkeeping and accountancy needs themselves. Many people struggle or have no desire to even think about the paperwork.

If you want to give us a bag full of receipts and your bank statements then we are more than happy to produce a set of accounts and your tax return for you. 

If (as is so often in owner managed businesses) you or your beloved other half do the accounts but you want someone to cast their professional and knowledgeable eyes other them before you click the “submit” button – we can happily help. This is not an audit service, we just make sure you have got the key areas covered.

We will never force you to use any particular bookkeeping software – if you have one in place that you are happy with then we will work with it.

We also offer a “retainer/knowledge base” arrangement where for a small agreed fee we are available at the end of the phone or emails for any ad-hoc questions or issues that you may have. Be very wary of forums and educated fools who think they have the correct answer for your particular question! We are up to date with our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and have full Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance in place.

A lot of lenders are still preferring (almost insisting) that an accountant signs off new mortgage applications now. Subject to certain criteria we can happily provide this service – and the fee is very sensible. COVID has made some lenders very wary and cautious.

One complaint we hear regularly about other accountants – their fee was far more than I expected and thought we had agreed! Our fee to you will NOT change from what was quoted. If you want to change accountants it’s a very simple process and we will guide you through it.

• We will keep you regularly updated with your current financial position and the dates / amounts of tax payable – well before the tax is due to HMRC.
• We will always be looking at the most tax / cash advantageous positions for you and your business.
• We keep it simple.
• We charge sensible fees and don’t believe in ripping clients off – it’s surprising how many firms charge a premium fee for a basic service.
